Internship Opportunities
VISTA Satellite Communications is a media solutions provider delivering confidence to the transmission and production industries since 1988. We are handling ground level post-production work for a major national professional sports league needing production interns to assist in all aspects. We are looking for young, enthusiastic, outgoing candidates who are detail-oriented, knowledgeable in sports, organized and highly proactive.
Applicants must have experience and a working knowledge of Final Cut Pro and organizing footage to be assembled to be edited. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with professional editors and producers who will be creating content that will be aired throughout different television markets in the country. This internship program is a stepping-stone to eventually become a full-fledged producer or editor. Our staff will train you how to organize, select and assemble content for major national production houses and networks. Applicants can either be undergraduate students (sophomores, juniors, and seniors) or post-graduate students looking for real world experience in a cutting edge industry. You will learn more through this opportunity then any classroom can offer. You must have a passion and interest in television, film, communications, or media studies.
Undergraduate candidates must be able to receive college credit for the internship or provide valid proof that their university or college supports the internship program. *Please note that the student will need to submit a letter from their college or university on official college letterhead to the internship supervisor at VISTA prior to the internship start date. Credit is awarded through the student’s college or university upon completion of the internship.
- MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 2-3 days per week
- HOURS NEEDED: 10:00am to 6:00 pm
- COMPENSATION: Academic credit or Proof of internship. You must be a college student in order to be considered for this internship.
- START DATE: February 2010
Post-graduate candidates must have graduated from a college or university and have high interest in working in TV and Media.

- HOURS NEEDED: 10:00am to 6:00 pm
- COMPENSATION: To be determined, commensurate with experience
