Nine Events…Three Days…Multiple Countries:
Over the weekend of November 19th to November 22nd the VISTA Special Events Team (SET) managed, coordinated and produced nine events in three days. From Soccer, to Boxing, to Basketball, to a global religious event, VISTA was on-site in Toronto, Kitchener, Wisconsin, New Jersey and locally in Ft. Lauderdale. It was an incredible experience as we all bonded together to deliver our diverse clientele their content.
This single weekend exemplifies how VISTA is much more than just a space segment house. All nine events, took months of planning, utilized a variety of connectivity technology and required the VISTA level of attention in order to succeed. We’ve grown so in the last decade to become the media solutions provider that so many of you depend on to creates the path most suited to the delivery of your programming.
Our College Basketball coverage enjoyed traditional satellite backhaul service to a national broadcaster. The Soccer distribution utilized a variety of resources, as some content was backhauled via satellite, downlinked and re-encoded into data and streamed onto the web, where as other soccer related content from the same location was backhauled via fiber to our South Florida production studios (www.stirlingstudios.tv) for integration and was re-distributed internationally (Europe, Africa and Asia) via fiber and satellite.
VISTA differentiates ourselves from others, as we are able to provide the same customer service no matter what type of media solution we offer our clients. As one VISTA team is coordinating coverage of a boxing match coming into our facility from Mexico, another team is arranging a production of a 300-person orchestra in a church in the middle of Ontario. Diversity keeps the VISTA juices flowing and our team evolving as technology rapidly advances.

Six Mobile uplink units, four fiber connections, two streaming feeds and one 10-hour FCP edit. Our team was at our best and this will be a weekend that VISTA will always remember. Thank you for putting your trust in us.
